Nicky Jam releases the music video for the ballad “Melancolía”

The ballad is part of his most recent album “Infinity”, where seeks to display their vocal range.

The Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Nicky Jam will release this Friday the music video of the ballad “Melancolía”, part of his new album “Infinity”, as reported this Thursday through a statement by the record company Sony Music.

“Melancolía” surprised everyone the followers of Nicky Jam because it is the first time that the artist displays his vocal range to such an extent, in a melodic journey through the memories of a relationship that has already ended.

The song has become one of the most praised songs on the new album.

The music video, directed by Gus, shows Nicky alone in a desert during a sunset, symbolizing all the beauty of a Past relationship that now comes to an end, and then the period of darkness before a new love arrives and the sun rises again.

“Melancholy” is part of Infinity, which takes the listener in v Journey through all the genres he has mastered throughout his career, from old-school reggaeton to raw, real rap verses, to romantic and melodic songs that really show off his vocal range. .

Nicky Jam is also preparing for his upcoming tour, INFINITY TOUR 2022, which will be the artist’s first official after the pandemic.

The tour will begin in Boston on February 3, 2022 and will end in Seattle on March 27, 2022 with stops in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Orlando, Miami, Houston, Hidalgo , Ontario, Los Angeles and San José.

Nick Rivera Caminero, Nicky Jam’s real name, is one of the pioneers of reggaeton in the world.
