The 20-year-old striker, selected instead of the Atlético Madrid midfielder, would have originally made up with the U21 national team, but is preparing to play against the adults against Italy from Monday. The two teams will meet in the semi-finals of the League of Nations Four finals, which starts at 8.45pm in Milan, San Siro, on Wednesday. Bryan Gil has starred in three championships this season, one English League Cup and four European Conference League matches in Tottenham. This is not the first time he has been invited to the adult national team: he made his debut in the World Cup qualifiers against Greece on March 25, 2021.
