A 17-year-old teenager was apprehended this Saturday night (02), after stealing two cell phones from a couple on Avenida Farquar, in the central region of the capital. The offender pretended to be a customer interested in the devices.

According to information obtained by our journalism team, after meeting with the victims, the teenager announced the theft and fled taking the objects.

The Military Police was called and managed to locate the young man in the “Beco São João” in the neighborhood Cai N’Água, where he still tried to get rid of the devices when he saw the police vehicle.

The same teenager was apprehended in the end of the month with a revolver with a partner, trying to kill a homeless person in the central region.

Seized, the The young man was again referred to the Police Center.
