Showmances are all well and good until they get in the way of rehearsal. But despite rumors that the budding relationship between Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian has led to the funnyman missing rehearsals, reps at Saturday Night Life claim that hasn’t been the case.
Davidson, 28, and Kardashian, 41, have reportedly been seeing each other since October 2021, after Kardashian’s stint hosting Saturday Night Live. Since then, the pair have been spotted together at the movies, amusement parks, and even the Bahamas. They’ve been hanging out so much that their pairing seems to have drawn the ire of Kardashian’s estranged husband, Kanye West (who recently legally changed his name to Ye), who dissed the actor in a verse of a new, leaked song, “My Life Was Never Eazy,” which dropped on January 14. “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” raps West, referencing a 2002 car accident as well as his soon-to-be-ex-wife’s new beau. Sources close to Davidson say that The King of Staten Island star finds the rap to be “hilarious.”
But while there may be drama in his personal life, Davidson seems to be doing just fine professionally. “No rehearsals have been missed,” an NBC spokesperson told Us Weekly on Thursday, after The Sun reported that Davidson had been acting like “a total diva” on Studio 8H set. “It’s not true.” It looks like Davidson really has achieved the impossible: a healthy work/life balance.
