Golman Čelsija Eduar Mendi spreman je da igra protiv Palmeirasa u finalu Svetskog klupskog prvenstva, rekao je danas pomoćni trener londonskog fudbalskog kluba Žolt Lev.
Mendi je prošlog vikenda sa Senegalom osvojio Kup afričkih nacija u Kamerunu i nedavno se priključio ekipi u Abu Dabiju na Svetskom klupskom prvenstvu. U njegovom odsustvu za Čelsi je branio Kepa Arisabalaga.
Lev je rekao da će se konsultovati sa trenerom Tomasom Tuhelom o tome ko će braniti u finalnoj utakmici. Nemac se u međuvremenu priključio ekipi u Abu Dabiju pošto je prethodnih dana zbog virusa korona ostao u Londonu.
“Konačnu odluku donećemo nekoliko sati pre utakmice, ali šta god da odlučimo, onaj golman koji ostane na klupi ne treba da bude zabrinut ili tužan. Obojica su prethodnih nedelja dobro branili i zbog toga je to pitanje samo za ovu utakmicu”, rekao je Lev, preneo je Bi-Bi-Si (BBC).
Finale se igra u subotu od 17.30.
