Older Metroid amiibo Work With Metroid Dread, And They’ve Been Restocked At My Nintendo Store

Get ’em while you can!

Metroid Amiibo

Metroid Dread launches in just a few days’ time on Friday 8th October, and if you’ve got any old amiibo figures lying around, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll be able to use them in-game.

Some of the Metroid figures from the Super Smash Bros. line (Samus, Dark Samus and Ridley) are compatible with Metroid Dread, alongside the new Samus and EMMI figures released specially for the game. The older figures will work as follows:

  • Samus (Super Smash Bros.) – Once a day, replenish life energy
  • Dark Samus / Ridley (Super Smash Bros.) – Once a day, replenish missile ammo

As it happens, all three of these figures have been restocked on the My Nintendo Store for £12.99 each (which is a little cheeky considering the original Samus launched at £10.99 back in the day). Still, they’re there if you want them for your collection:
