The ONE-Sounds ministry released their new song this Tuesday (18th). Composition by Henrique Machado, the song “Beijem o Filho” features the participation of Alessandro Vilas Boas, pastor of ONE Church and one of the leaders of ONE Sounds.
“This song had been recorded for a long time, but I understood that it was opportune to release it now at the beginning of the year. The writing process was quite atypical. I was in my bed rested when the melody came to my head and I asked my wife to get the guitar running. So I just started singing what was in my head”, explained Henrique.
The song will be part of Henrique Machado’s EP that will also be released by ONE-Sounds and also has a video clip on the ministry’s channel on YouTube. The project is directed by Henrique Machado, who counts on the experience of Thiago Marcondes and Jessica Galter.
“I hope I can pierce the bubble where my songs permeate and reach other niches. The main idea of the clip was to cooperate with the message of the song, because I thought that maybe there would be a mistake in the interpretation of the main message: “Kiss the Son”. This phrase, although in part consistent with what it implies, is much deeper than simply kissing the Son of God. The most correct understanding would be an urgent and fearful appeal to all who hear it. Kissing the Son is for everyone to recognize the government and sovereignty of the Son of God so that his wrath does not fall on us”, summarizes the musician.
A detail apart from the song is the cover chosen for the single and all communication developed for the release. Stamping the image of a lamb with seven eyes and seven horns, the identity is based on the biblical text of Revelation 5:6: “Then I saw, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and among the elders, a Lamb stood as if it had been slain. He had seven horns, as well as seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth”.
