ONEE: ISO 9001 certification of the Oriental electricity transmission network

Following an audit mission, led by a renowned certification body, the network quality management system of electricity transmission from the National Electricity Office (ONEE), in the Oriental regions, obtained its ISO 9001 certification.

Like the regions of Agadir to the southern provinces, the northern and central regions, the Oriental region has also obtained ISO 9001 certification for the management system quality of its electricity transmission network, ONEE indicated in an informative note, this Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

The verdict fell at the end of an audit mission led by a renowned certification body. The mission team was responsible for verifying all the managerial, support and operational processes of the maintenance activities of the energy transmission network, the operation of HTB stations, the design, construction and acceptance of works. HTB, without forgetting the reading and maintenance of metering systems. All this work resulted in the identification of the effectiveness of the quality management system of the electricity transmission network in the regions of the Oriental.

Faced with this success, ONEE declares: “ Improving the quality of service, availability and operational safety of the electricity network, security, expertise and productivity of staff and that of infrastructure constitute the axes of the Office’s policy in the field of electricity system management.

It should be noted that since 2005, all regional transport departments and the electricity system operator of the ‘Office are certified according to the ISO 9001 standard. This, according to him, “ demonstrates proof of its commitment to the sustained improvement of its performance ”.
