Pass unlocked with negative test but the certificate is always required

Simplification

Covid, vaccination obligation immediately for over 50s

The Super Green pass is suspended today with a positive buffer, but has been back since yesterday to be valid with the negative swab that certifies the negativization of those infected, thus unlocking automatically without the need for further steps and certificates from the family doctor or the ASL. The new simplified procedure decided by the Ministry of Health has just started, so much so that only on January 6 there were about 120 thousand green certificates that were automatically reactivated as soon as the negative swabs of the Covid patients were loaded into the telematic platform that manages the Green passes through the health card system.

In practice, the negative result of the molecular swab or the rapid antigenic control swab is entered directly by the local health authorities, laboratories or pharmacies that process the tests , and its insertion automatically reactivates the Super Green pass now necessary to access all places of sociality.

Bureaucracy risk around the corner

This is a much-awaited simplification after the chaos of the last few weeks – between queues in the face of drive-ins for tampons and doctors and local health authorities in trouble – also in light of the boom in infected people that is growing more and more at the rate of 200 thousand positives a day: today there are 1.6 million positive Italians and therefore the novelty to be able to leave home isolation is certainly welcome. So far the glass is half full, because the half empty one provides that the passage to the family doctor or the ASL will in any case be obliged to have the certificate of recovery that will be necessary to activate a new Green pass as a recovered one which will replace the one when vaccinated. The bureaucracy risk is therefore always around the corner.

Positive, suspension of the certificate in trouble . If the release of the Green pass for the healed is a new thing just started, the block of the green certificate in case of positivity has been active for at least a couple of weeks. And on this procedure there are reports that denounce delays in the suspension of the green certificate once the positivity has been discovered.

The most recent one concerned, for example, the former mayor of Rome, Gianni Alemanno, who in recent days has reported having his Super Green pass still valid despite having had a positive swab for a couple of days . A malfunction on which the councilor for Health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato, called into question for this inefficiency by the former mayor of the capital, replied.
