The golden button fell in the first show. Why did you and Saša decide to do this?
It was a completely spontaneous decision. Tajda shocked and took us so by surprise with her unusual talent and the whole story that we both knew in an instant that this was it! We glanced at each other and walked to the stage without even agreeing on how we were going to seduce the thing. But with Saša, things really easily happen quite organically, so in a few moments golden confetti flew through the air and tears of happiness flowed!

What is this year’s talent harvest?
Very colorful, interesting and diverse. The biggest difference from previous years may be that talents are mostly much more relaxed and confident, perhaps due to social networks, also more accustomed to expressing their thoughts and desires concisely and clearly. So I’m really looking forward to the next shows and all the progress they’ll make along the way.

Your jokes during the show – is this a script or do you “throw them out of your head”?
Talents, especially this year, are a great mix of prepared content and moments of “reality” (spontaneity), so it depends on what jokes you mean exactly. The ratio of ready to spontaneous is somewhere around 70 to 30.
Talents will always have a special place in my heart, because in 2010 I came to Pop TV because of them and, also on the wings of the success of the first seasons, I finally decided on my life path. I matured on it myself, but it has certainly matured over the years and the show has also taken a big step forward – we have grown its creators, our talents have grown and clearly the viewers as well, so the differences between the first and last season are really obvious. Picture, camera, directing, lighting, editing are better, the approach to creating content is different. The eighth season is made up of quite a few “first seasons” with more than a decade of experience creating similar shows, which certainly gives us confidence and, above all, confidence that we can do things even better, that we dare to make certain parts of the show even more complex and make them beautiful for everyone. involved, but above all interesting and attractive to viewers.
Because the format of the show is really thoughtful and the talents really have the opportunity to show what they know, to progress through the show and further hone their skills and taste and taste what it might look like if they decided, to make a living from their talent. Each show is prepared by more than a hundred people and all this energy and knowledge actually helps the talents to surpass themselves and make concrete progress.

Is it easier to “tame girls” in the Dream Man, fulfill wishes on the Day of the Most Beautiful Dreams or direct talents?
An interesting question, but basically it’s impossible to compare all these shows and my work in them, even though I’m mostly talking everywhere. (laughter) Each of them really requires a different approach, the implementation of a different “mindset”. Either way, the production of the TV show is a lot of group work, and despite the exposure, the presenter is still only part of the team and there because the show as a whole “fits”. And I really hope that there will be many more of them!
