Petrobras atinge recorde anual de produção no pré-sal em 2021

A Petrobras (PETR3;PETR4) registrou em 2021 um novo recorde anual de produção no pré-sal, atingindo 1,95 milhão de barris de óleo equivalente por dia (boed). Esse volume corresponde a 70% da produção total da companhia no ano passado, que foi de 2,77 milhões de boed.

O recorde anterior era de 2020, quando foi alcançada a marca de 1,86 milhão de boed, representando 66% da produção total da Petrobras.

A estatal afirmou que a produção no pré-sal vem crescendo rapidamente, e o recorde registrado em 2021 representa mais do que o dobro do volume que produziu na região há cinco anos.

“Com a manutenção do foco de atuação nas suas atividades em ativos em águas profundas e ultraprofundas, a Petrobras continuará investindo na aceleração do desenvolvimento dos campos do pré-sal, que possuem alta produtividade, maior resiliência a baixos preços de petróleo e mais eficiência em carbono”, disse a companhia em nota.

A empresa prevê no seu Plano Estratégico 2022-26 investimentos de US$ 57 bilhões no segmento Exploração e Produção (E&P), sendo 67% desse total no pré-sal, que receberá 12 das 15 novas plataformas previstas para entrar em operação neste período e que deverá ser responsável por 79% da produção total da companhia em 2026.
