Pilot suffers minor injuries after emergency landing in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts

The incident is under investigation by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.

A small plane made an emergency landing Thursday night on Highway 349 in near Saint-Alexis-des-Monts in the Mauricie region.

The Cessna struck a Hydro-Québec pole at 7:45 p.m. and the pilot suffered minor injuries, the Sûreté du Québec said.

There were no other injuries reported.

The incident is under investigation by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada and provincial police said there was no evidence of any criminal wrongdoing.
