Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason says Roger Waters is “dumb” about feeling bullied by band members.
Nick Mason in a new interview with Roger Waters last month with David Gilmour and keyboardist Richard Wright “pulling his feet. I am surprised to say that.
“I’m a little disappointed,” Nick Mason told Jim Dragitis at the Coda Collection. “I think I said a little emotionally that there was a division in the band.”
“Well, Roger・ Waters went beyond music in some places. I think it’s an overstatement. But, like music, there may have been people who wanted to do movies and other things and people who only wanted to do music. I think, but I don’t think he was particularly mean. It’s hard to imagine bullying Roger. Stalin is a bullied child. “
In September Roger Waters said in a Marc Maron podcast that Pink Floyd was “a bad environment.”
“It was a very bad environment. People around me, mainly David Gilmour and Richard Wright. I was trying to threaten me in any position. “
I was asked how the bullying was done. Roger Waters replied: “I say I can’t hear and don’t understand music.”
“‘I’m sick of him. I can’t even tune the guitar even though it’s coming. “
” I’m childish and complaining all the time. I guess it was because I felt it was insignificant. “
” I’m not doing anything. We’re together. There is no doubt that when I was doing it, I made a wonderful work and everyone contributed to it. “
Pink Floyd was in 1987. It has been decided that the remix & new version of “Depression” announced in the year, “Depression (Remix & Update)” will be released on October 29th.
