Pirates, Sundowns target holding out for overseas move

Golden Arrows’ attacking midfielder Pule Mmodi has created a lot of admirers for himself locally.

Mmodi’s impressive displays for Abafana Nes’thende have not gone unnoticed, Phakaaathi has heard.

A source has told us that Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates have been sniffing around about the 28-year-old’s situation at Arrows.

“His contract is ending in June I think. There are a lot of interested suitors locally but he is not interested in them at the moment.

“He has set his eyes on a move overseas and there is something brewing that his people are trying to set up for him. He can only ‘settle’ for a local move if his dream doesn’t come true,” said the source.
