Pobladores exigen detener envenenamiento masivo de perritos en Santiago Tianguistenco

Un grupo de al menos 30 personas se manifestaron frente al Ayuntamiento de Santiago Tianguistenco para exigir justicia y un alto al maltrato animal, luego de que en los últimos días, afirmaron, fueron hallados aproximadamente 30 caninos envenenados en la zona centro y los poblados cercanos.

De acuerdo con los inconformes, el pasado fin de semana fueron hallados seis perros muertos, los cuales tenían visibles huellas de haber sido envenenados.

A raíz de esto, los vecinos organizaron grupos en redes sociales para aportar información y ahí descubrieron que al menos 30 perros habían sido envenenados desde el miércoles pasado.

Aunque el presidente municipal de Santiago Tianguistenco, Diego Moreno Valle, se pronunció al respecto condenó los hechos y aseguró que ya se hicieron las denuncias ante autoridades competentes, los vecinos no descartan la presunta responsabilidad del edil en estos hechos, ya que en el Bando Municipal no hay advertencias o sanciones locales por maltrato animal.

Los manifestantes realizaron un recorrido en el primer cuadro con cartulinas en mano junto con sus “animales de compañía”, para exigir justicia por los perros asesinados y alto al maltrato animal.
