Police conducted a thorough search of Holy Trinity Catholic High School on Katimavik Road, but no weapon was found.

The police subsequently deemed it safe for students to return to normal activities, according to an email to parents from the school’s principal, Alex Belloni.

Officers were called to the school at 8:40 a.m. School officials immediately implemented lockdown procedures, which remained in place until police declared the building safe.
