Predčasné pôrody a mŕtve deti. Nová štúdia o covide prináša varovanie pre tehotné ženy

Štúdia Edinburghskej univerzity zistila, že predčasné pôrody, mŕtvo narodené deti a úmrtia novorodencov sú bežnejšie u žien, ktoré majú covid 28 dní alebo menej pred dátumom pôrodu.

Častejšie komplikácie u neočkovaných

Nezaočkované ženy podľa výskumu predstavujú 77 percent infekcií koronavírusu počas tehotenstiev v Škótsku, a 98 percent infekcií, ktoré viedli k hospitalizácii.

Výskumníci sa zamerali na 4 950 potvrdených infekcií u tehotných žien od 1. decembra 2020, keď sa začalo s rutinným testovaním na koronavírus pri prijímaní do pôrodnice.

Zistili, že závažné komplikácie, ako je prijatie na JISku, mŕtvo narodené deti a novorodenecké úmrtia, boli častejšie u neočkovaných v porovnaní s tými, ktoré boli zaočkované.

V porovnaní s netehotnými ženami v reprodukčnom veku je u tehotných žien s infekciou SARS-CoV-2 väčšia pravdepodobnosť, že budú prijaté do intenzívnej starostlivosti, dostanú invazívnu ventiláciu a mimotelové okysličenie membrány a zomrú.
