According to the Chief Accounting Office, due to the lower fuel costs last year compared to the base period, plus the increase in the prices of air tickets, vegetables, meat, fruits and clothing, as well as some services Projects (such as tour group fees and babysitter fees) were due to the Mid-Autumn Festival (the same period last year fell in October), which caused price increases to rise again. However, the decline in the prices of communication equipment and personal belongings offset part of the increase. After deducting vegetables, fruits and energy, the core CPI rose 1.74% annually.

In terms of various categories, transportation and communications have the largest increase of 7.20%, mainly due to a 32.83% increase in air ticket prices and a 24.88% increase in fuel costs, but the price of communication equipment fell by 9.89 %, offset part of the increase.

The food category rose by 3.55%, reflecting the deferred impact of successive heavy rains from June to August. The prices of vegetables and fruits rose by 26.12% and 3.27% respectively. The prices of meat and aquatic products also rose 5.89% and 3.16% respectively.

while the education and entertainment category rose 2.84%, because September coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday (the same period last year fell in October), and China National Travel Service followed the epidemic Slowing down, coupled with last year’s price cuts and promotions by some businesses, which was lower than the base period, and the national travel group fee increased by 12.30%.

my country’s CPI in the first three quarters rose by 1.74% on average annually. Among them, the commodity category rose by 2.12%, the service category rose by 1.42%, and the core CPI rose by only 1.25%. .

If we look at the annual increase rate of the CPI for important civilian assets that the Executive Yuan’s Price Stabilization Group is concerned about, the 17 important civilian assets in the first three quarters have increased by 2.33% annually. Among them, egg prices rose 6.33%, pork rose 4%, salad oil and conditioning oil rose 4.03%, and clothes detergent rose 3.53%, all higher than the overall average.

Observe the price trends of neighboring countries (regions), my country’s CPI rose 1.63% in the first August, South Korea rose 2.0%, Singapore rose 1.8%, Hong Kong rose 1.4%, China rose 0.6%, only Japan fell 0.6%.
