Serbia has responded to the introduction of measures for goods from central Serbia.
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic said that Pristina, by introducing “some anti-dumping measures”, today again resorted to unilateral moves that directly undermine any potential for regional cooperation and closes itself to any such initiative that is embodied in the idea of ”Open Balkans”.

– It is more than clear Pristina’s intention to restrict the free flow of goods and services again for the sake of one-time political goals. By introducing some anti-dumping measures, Pristina is trying to cause new instability and raise tensions on the ground. As a rule, in every finish of the pre-election campaign, Pristina reaches for measures that are directed against Serbs and official Belgrade, and this measure does not differ in that respect. It is obvious that Pristina is looking for a reason for the crisis and problems on the ground in everything – said Petković.
He reminded that the introduction of a 100 percent tax on goods from central Serbia began with the introduction of a tax on construction materials.
– However, that is not the way for Pristina to cover up the catastrophic results in the economy, as well as the problems in managing the coronavirus pandemic – the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija pointed out.
The Ministry of Industry in Pristina decided today to introduce protective anti-dumping measures on some products from Serbia.
This was announced by Minister Rozeta Hajdari and added that these measures are for protection of industry and trade, reported the Pristina Zeri.
As she explained, one of the measures refers to the introduction of three eurocents per kilogram for the import of animal concentrate from central Serbia, and the other also three eurocents for the import of one unit of a building block.
