What is really important in life? For us adults this is often difficult to define – especially for children. It is all the more important to give them good orientation, to convey values to them, says Hans-Otto Thomashoff. The psychiatrist and family therapist recently published a book on the subject. In it he writes how parents can give their children a guideline for their way through life. It is very important that they are role models. Because children automatically imitate what they see in adults. But that doesn’t mean that you have to be perfect as a father or mother, says Thomashoff.
