Razer presents a new webcam for less than 100 €

While containment has given birth to a vocation to stream in many people, equipping yourself to produce good quality content that is likely to appeal to others can sometimes be very expensive. A major brand in the IT world, the Razer company seeks to make these products ever more accessible , by offering entry-level products for less than € 100. The Kiyo X USB webcam is therefore available on the brand’s website for only $ 80. This camera allows you to choose the webcam flow to give more or less importance to the frame rate. It is thus possible to shoot in 1080 p and 30 fps or to have a slightly lower quality, but a higher frame rate (720p 60 fps). The webcam also has autofocus which means that the focus will follow the face of the person filming even when the person starts to move. These parameters can however be adjusted manually to have better management of the final image and to achieve artistic blurs for example.

A capture card at $ 140

The Ripsaw X capture card is also new. It can capture images up to 30 frames per second in 4K. Razer claims the device offers “near-zero latency” thanks to its HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0 connectivity. It can be connected to a high-end camera to have an even better rendering and broadcast the flow. These are more economical versions of other Razer devices , such as the Kiyo webcam, which has a built-in light ring, or the Ripsaw capture card. HD which allows its side to have up to 60 images per second. As said above, Razer’s Kiyo X webcam costs $ 80, while the slightly more expensive Ripsaw X is priced at $ 140. Both products are already available on the brand’s official store.
