The Norwegian PMI fell in January, but is still at a high level. The biggest challenges are related to bottlenecks and stockpiling.

It shows a report prepared by DNB in collaboration with Nima (Norwegian Association for Purchasing and Logistics).
The level is still above the historical average and indicates continued growth.
The relatively good development in industrial activity here at home follows what has been seen in many other countries, and reflects the solid demand for consumer goods.
This was the development in the five sub-indices from December to January:
- Production fell 2.8 points to 53.2
Order entry step 1.0 points to 53.4 Employment step 1, 5 points to 56.6
