Xiaomi has expanded its portfolio of Note 12 phones with the new Redmi Note 12R Pro. The mid-range smartphone with 5G support has debuted in China, as promised a few days ago.

The Redmi Note 12R Pro flaunts a 120Hz OLED panel with minimal bezels on all sides. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, which is paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Here are the full specs of the Note 12R Pro:

Redmi Note 12R Pro Specifications

The Redmi Note 12R Pro sports a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The panel has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

When it comes to imaging, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 48MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there’s a punch hole cutout housing the 16MP selfie camera.

Moving on to the processor, the Note 12R Pro features an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. It is accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The handset ships with Android 13-based MIUI 14.

As for the battery, the Redmi Note 12R Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Connectivity options for the Note 12R Pro include 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. The smartphone features a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The device is IP53-rated for water and dust resistance.

Redmi Note 12R Pro Price, Availability

The Redmi Note 12R Pro costs CNY 1,999 (around ₹23,649) in China for the sole model with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone comes in black, white, and gold colorways. It’s unclear whether the Note 12R Pro will debut in global markets.
