ROMA- Dopo l’esonero di Stefano Saja la dirigenza dell’Acqua&Sapone Roma ha deciso di affidare la prima squadra ad Andrea Mafrici, tecnico che negli ultimi tre anni ha ricoperto il ruolo di secondo allenatore del team giallorosso.
Dal 2019 nello staff tecnico della società, ha ricoperto il ruolo di secondo allenatore delle Wolves nelle ultime 3 stagioni.
Nella stagione 2019/20, in serie A2, assunse per alcune partite il ruolo di capo allenatore.
Nella sua carriera, prima di arrivare nella capitale, ha maturato, come primo e secondo allenatore, esperienze in squadre laziali, ottenendo diverse promozioni di categoria.
Nato a Reggio Calabria nel 1985, laureato in Scienze e Tecniche dello Sport alla IUSM di Roma, vive a Nettuno.
