The Russian women’s national volleyball team under 18 won the world championship
Volleyball players of the Russian national team U18 became winners World Cup, which ended in Mexico. Our athletes beat the Italian national team in three games in the final – 3-0 (25:16, 25:17, 25:20). Brazil, Slovakia, Argentina and Bulgaria. In the 1/8 finals, the Russians beat Puerto Rico (3-0), in the quarterfinals, our volleyball players were stronger than the Polish team (3-0). In the semifinals, our athletes beat Serbia (3-0).
In turn, the Italians in the group became the first, beating the national teams of Turkey, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Egypt. In the 1/8 finals, the Italian team passed the Canadian national team (3-0), in the quarterfinals – the Romanian team (3-0), and in the semifinals they were stronger than the USA team (3-0).
