Samsung Unveils New AI-Powered TVs and Soundbars for 2024

Samsung Electronics showcased its latest lineup of TVs and soundbars at the Unbox & Discover event, touting them as the next generation of home entertainment powered by AI.

The centerpiece of the announcement is the Neo QLED 8K TV, featuring the advanced NQ8 AI Gen3 processor. This processor promises exceptional viewing experiences with features like:

  • 8K AI Upscaling Pro: Transform your favorite shows and movies to near-8K quality.
  • AI Motion Enhancer Pro: Enjoy smoother and clearer action scenes, perfect for sports fans.
  • Real Depth Enhancer Pro: Experience lifelike depth and immerse yourself in every scene.
  • AI-powered sound: Crystal clear dialogue and dynamic object tracking sound for a truly immersive experience.
  • AI Auto Game Mode: Optimized visuals and audio for an unrivaled gaming experience.
  • AI Customization Mode: Tailors the picture quality to your preferences for each scene.
  • AI Energy Mode: Saves power without compromising picture quality.

The Neo QLED 8K comes in two models (QN900D and QN800D) and three sizes (65, 75, and 85 inches).

Samsung also unveiled its 2024 Neo QLED 4K lineup, boasting innovations similar to the Neo QLED 8K TVs. These TVs come in sizes ranging from 55 to 98 inches, catering to diverse viewing needs.

For those seeking an OLED option, Samsung debuted its first Glare-Free OLED TVs. Powered by the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, these TVs offer features like Real Depth Enhancer and OLED HDR Pro, promising exceptional picture quality. Sizes range from 42 to 83 inches across three models (S95D, S90D, and S85D).

Samsung further bolstered its home entertainment offerings with new soundbars, including the Q990D boasting an 11.1.4-channel setup with Wireless Dolby Atmos. The lineup also includes the ultra-slim S800D and S700D soundbars, and the all-new Music Frame, which combines premium audio with artistic design.
