SAT 2022: How to make an appointment from your website?

The dreaded annual tax return period is approaching and your tolerance for bureaucratic procedures knows it. The Tax Administration Service (SAT) has several services available remotely, but if you need to go to their offices, you can make an appointment online, through their website. We tell you about the process for when you need to schedule an appointment with the Treasury:

• Enter to the website https://citas.sat.gob.mx/
• Click on the manage/register an appointment button, select the federal entity, the closest module and the service you require.
• Enter your full name, RFC and email.
• Select the date and time that suits you best and click on request an appointment.
Read and accept the terms and conditions of the application.
• Enter the characters shown in the image, you will immediately receive the acknowledgment of your appointment .
• Receive in your email the acknowledgment of your appointment.
• Save the assigned appointment and confirmation number as it will be useful in case you need to check or cancel the reserved space.

This online procedure is completely free and you can go to the SAT offices without a previously agreed appointment, only that through this mechanism it will take them longer to attend to you.These are some of the procedures that can be carried out at the SAT offices:

• Registration in the Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC).
• Obtaining and renewing the expired e.signature.
• Password processing.
• Change of tax regime.
