Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It Heart TV Anime Reveals TV Broadcast Details

Ayame Himuro surprises her labmate Shinya Yukimura with an enthusiastic embrace in a scene from the Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It TV anime.

The evidence is in: new details have been revealed about the Japanese TV broadcast of Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It Heart (known in Japan as Rikei ga Ochita no de Shoumei Shitemita. r=1-sinθ), the second season of the ongoing anime adaptation based on the romantic comedy manga by Alifred Yamamoto about a group of researchers who take an empirical approach to romance.

The original Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It manga is serialized by Flex Comix in their COMIC Meteor manga magazine. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season of the TV anime, and describes the story as follows:

What happens when a science-inclined girl and boy who are deeply passionate about research fall in love? An intelligent woman named Himuro Ayame who is a science graduate student at Saitama University happens to ask fellow science grad student Yukimura Shinya out. Of course, there’s no logical reason for this love! But as a science and engineering major, not being able to logically prove love would mean that those feelings aren’t real, and they’d fail as a science student. With that in mind, the two drag everyone else in the lab into trying various experiments to prove love actually exists.

A key visual for the upcoming second season of the Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It TV anime, featuing the main characters being baffled by a series of cartoon heart shapes.

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It Heart is directed by Toru Kitahata and feature animation production by Zero-G. The series is scheduled to broadcast on TOKYO MX, Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting, TV Nagasaki, Sun TV, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS Fuji, and other stations beginning in April of 2022.
