Scorpions has announced details of their new album and tour planned for 2022.
The 19th studio in total for the first time in 7 years since “Return To Forever” (2015) -The new album will be named “Rock Believer” and is scheduled to be released on February 11th. The tour will start in March with a long-term performance in Las Vegas, followed by a European tour. Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH will be part of the European tour.
Frontman Klaus Meine wrote about the new album, “Schenker / Meine’s composition is the core of the song in the traditional Scorpions DNA style. I made and recorded it. I first returned to the essence that defined us. “” We gathered this album in one room and recorded it live as a band. We went back to what we were doing in the 80’s. ” I’m commenting.
2022 will be the 50th anniversary of the release of the debut album “Lonesome Crow (Japanese edition title: Lonesome Crow)”, and a new album. He wants to celebrate this big milestone with his fans on the tour.
At the end of October, the 1st single “Peacemaker” from the new album will be released.
