Several developers should have received tools to make 4K games for Nintendo Switch

New rumors claim that 4K-Switch will come next year, but Nintendo denies everything.

8 . October Nintendo releases a new Switch model, with OLED screen and not much else who has been in talks with eleven different gaming companies, all of which claim to be sitting on developer versions of a Switch with 4K support. Among these are reportedly both small developers and larger publishing houses, including the mobile game giant Zynga Inc. Nintendo is said to have released these developer editions – which studios use to test games on upcoming hardware – even before the OLED version was announced in July. Developers tell Bloomberg that they expect to release games with 4K support by the end of 2022.

According to Bloomberg’s experience, this is in line with the launch plans for the new console variant. However, Nintendo has backtracked on Twitter

, and claims that the site’s report is inaccurate. – A news report has made erroneous claims that Nintendo has sent out tools for making games for a Nintendo Switch with 4K support. To ensure that our investors and customers understand what is happening, we would like to point out that this report is not true. We also want to say that, as we announced in July, we have no plans for a model other than the Nintendo Switch OLED model.

Of course, the global chip shortage continues to present problems. Like both Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo has not been able to produce as many consoles as the company had wanted, and the situation may go beyond potential plans for new console variants. So far, the only thing that matters is to be patient.
