Six people died as a result of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Mato Grosso, according to data released by the State Health Department (SES-MT) on Monday (4). 503 new cases of the disease were also reported in the state.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the state has registered 538,339 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 13,824 deaths.Currently, there are 2,699 people in home isolation and 521,119 are recovered. Among confirmed, suspected and discarded cases for Covid-19, there are 106 admissions to public ICUs and 63 to public wards. That is, the occupancy rate is 34.42% for adult ICUs and 11% for adult wards.Among the ten municipalities with the highest number of cases of Covid-19 are: Cuiabá (111,571), Várzea Grande (38,554), Rondonópolis (37,844), Sinop (25,977), Sorriso (18,286), Tangará da Serra (17,744), Lucas do Rio Verde (15,625), Primavera do Leste (14,704), Cáceres (11,860) and Barra do Garças (10,567). The document also points out that a total of 404,835 samples have already been evaluated by the State’s Central Laboratory (Lacen-MT) and that, currently, there are 85 samples left for laboratory analysis.
