Snowden: Facebook and Instagram are off, the world is a healthier place at least for a day

Former CIA employee and American whistleblower Edward Snowden who released intelligence in 2013 announced on the occasion of the fall of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

As expected, Snowden welcomed the shutdown of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

“Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram are falling at the same time. It seems to be an easy-to-understand and popular example of why breaking a certain monopoly into at least three parts may not be a bad idea, ”he wrote on Twitter.

Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram all going down at the same time sure seems like an easily-understandable and publicly-popular example of why breaking up a certain monopoly into at least three pieces might not be a bad idea.

Somebody should tell Elizabeth Warren.

In a series of tweets he wrote and that Facebook and Instagram are mysteriously excluded.

“And one day, the world becomes a healthier place,” he added.

He then asked: “Internet giants are offline today and are not coming back. What will happen tomorrow? ”, And under the answers he put:“ Golden Age ”and“ Collapse: We have dinner with rats. ”

Snowden recommended everyone to use non-profit “alternative applications” such as Signal and others that have “open source”.

Recall, problems with access to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp started today just after 5 pm and have been going on for hours .

Facebook took to Twitter after their services around the world stopped working, writing that they are doing everything they can to solve the problem as soon as possible.
