However, the time limits are not linked to actual playing time, but instead begins the moment you press the “download” button. All the time you spend downloading the games therefore counts, and your internet speed determines how much time you actually get with the games. Reddit User « jsnals points out, however, that one can create a new PlayStation Network account and download the trial version via it. Then you can start the trial period with the regular PlayStation Network account, and since the game has already been downloaded, no time will pass.
