In the last few months I’ve seen quite a few wireless speakers meant to be worn around the neck, including the model SRS-NB10 in summer. Now the Sony also announces the variant SRS-NS7 , a speaker with a neck-mounting system that delivers a personal and immersive cinema-like audio experience.
This speaker is the first of its kind in the world compatible with Dolby Atmos . We have the unique Sony 360 Spatial Sound experience for a perfectly optimized movie audition. This product works with the included wireless transmitter and BRAVIA XR TVs to create an ideal Dolby Atmos Virtual Speaker configuration.
Those who want a truly personalized experience can use the 360 Spatial Sound Personalization app to photograph their ears. This analyzes the unique auditory characteristics and the Sony SRS-NS7 audio experiences are modeled according to these criteria. We also have 360 Reality Audio sound via smartphone, available through music services such as Deezer, nugs.net or TIDAL.
As speakers this speaker has a speaker X-Balanced for clear and low-distortion music and dialogue. There is also a passive radiator that increases the low frequency response for clear bass. The autonomy is up to 12 hours, or 5 hours at maximum volume and we also have fast power. Thus, 10 minutes of charging via USB-C delivers up to 60 minutes of additional playback.
We also have a Multipoint connection for simultaneous connection to two devices, for example smartphone and laptop. The speaker also has IPX4 certification so you can wear it when you take a shower. As for prices, Sony SRS-NS7 will cost 1,479 lei and arrives in November 2021. The transmitter will sell for 296 lei. More details about the speaker can be found here !
