Orcs attacked a yacht off the coast of northwestern Spain. There were two people on board, the rudder was damaged. The animals were scared away by the Spanish rescue vessel Salvamento Maritimo.
According to the Madrid agency Europa Press, the incident took place on Thursday near the northwestern border of Spain with Portugal, at the level of the village A Guarda, in the province of Pontevedra.
Following an attack by killer whales on the British yacht Extra Mile, which was approximately five nautical miles away from the shore, the rudder was damaged and the unit immobilized. The Spanish salvage vessel Salvamento Maritimo came to the rescue.

The Agency recalls that with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of attacks by killer whales on watercraft off the coast of Spain has increased. Reports of this type are recorded every few weeks.
