On a The new image shows emissions from brand new stars burning through space like cosmic wildfires.

Nothing explodes here, nor does it burn. The “fire” seen is the Flame Nebula of Orion and its surroundings, such as the Europe Southern Observatory (ESO) explained in a broadcast.

The image was created using the ESO powered Atacama Pathfinder Experiment

(APEX) recorded, referring to located on the frigid Chajnantor Plateau in Chile’s Atacama Desert. It is based on observations made by former ESO astronomer Thomas Stanke and his team made a few years ago. You wanted the

In contrast to visible light , infrared waves penetrate the thick clouds of interstellar dust and allow astronomers to spot stars and other objects that would otherwise remain hidden.

“As astronomers like to say: whenever a new telescope or instrument is in the vicinity, observe Orion: there is always something new and interesting things to discover,” said Stanke in the ESO statement.
