Speedrunner beats Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in 2 hours blindfolded

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a highly acclaimed title from FromSoftware, also responsible for Dark Souls. However, the typical difficulty of the studio’s games was no problem for streamer Mitchriz, who beat the game in just two hours and blindfolded.

To achieve the feat, the speedrunner used his memory of “months of grind” and had some audio cues to know exactly the direction of the enemies, when to attack and when to defend.

The streamer participated in the Awesome Games Done Quick , a speedrun charity marathon and raised funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a US organization dedicated to the early detection and prevention of cancer. In total, $3.4 million was collected for the institution during the event, which also featured speedruns from Kena: Bridge of Spirts, Portal 2, Pumpkin Jack and )Webbed.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The title was named Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2019. The title is a challenging adventure in Feudal Japan, during the Sengoku period.
