ORAVA. V Čimhovej má možnosť pripojiť sa na kanalizáciu 85 percent domácností, pre zostávajúcich 15 percent treba dostavať približne 345 metrov.
„Stavebné povolenie sme dostali v roku 2000, no stále nemáme kanalizáciu dokončenú,“ povedala starostka Daniela Tretinová. „Potrebujeme na to približne dvestotisíc eur a tie nemáme. Už niekoľko rokov žiadame pomoc z eurofondov, no nedarí sa nám ich získať.“
Čimhovú stála prevádzka kanalizácie denne minimálne 30 eur, k tomu teba pripočítať ciachovanie meračov, štvrťročný preplach a ďalšie náklady. Súčet za rok vyšiel na 15-tisíc eur. Na poplatkoch od ľudí pritom vybrali len päťtisíc.
Samospráva sa preto rozhodla kanalizáciu prenajať od 18. januára Oravskej vodárenskej spoločnosti (OVS). Za ušetrené peniaze dokáže uhradiť mzdy zamestnancov materskej školy a náklady na jej prevádzku za mesiac.
