Hwang Dong-hyuk, the director of Squid Game, which has met with interest in every corner of the world with its release on Netflix, With Netflix He announced that they have started to meet for the third season of the series. Stating that he is aware of the fact that everyone is waiting for the next season to come out, the director said, “In the face of this interest, we are all about the creation of the new season we think positively” said. Hwang Dong-hyuk previously talked about the weariness of the drama’s filming process while answering questions about Season 2. Stating that they are now preparing for a new agreement with Netflix, the director said “It is quite tiring to even think about it” . Dong-hyuk, who complained at every opportunity how difficult it was to write and direct the drama, explained that he was worried about getting into this process. Although it was a tiring process, the director, who seems to be pleased with the attention he received ,“2. and we are in talks with Netflix for the 3rd season.” and stated that they will reach a conclusion soon

Hwang mentioned the second season in her previous statements and “Gi-hun will return and do something for the world, I promise you that” made statements about what awaits the audience in the upcoming episodes of the series .
