Stray Cats Hail SpaceX's Starlink Antennas: Here's Why You'll Give Cats So Much

SpaceX added a feature to the Starlink antennas, causing cats to memory slots with antennas. The cats that covered the antenna caused the internet speed to decrease as well.

SpaceX space company, of which Elon Musk is the founder and CEO, is not only engaged in space missions, as you know. While the company continues to revolutionize space travel, on the other hand, it continues its project named ‘Starlink‘. This project, which aims to offer low-cost and high-speed internet to the whole world, is now available in some regions. Starlink , which has been announced to be available in Turkey this year, basically offers internet to the user thanks to two components. These components consist of one Starlink antenna and hundreds of Starlink satellites launched into low orbit of the earth. As for those antennas that send signals to satellites in orbit and placed near houses, today a small but sweet detail that attracts cats has been shared.

)Starlink antennas became a home for cats: starlinkstarlink Starlink antennas can be hung on the roofs of the houses or the outer walls of the houses, or they can be placed directly in the garden. Of course, these antennas also generate a certain amount of heat when sending signals. But SpaceX took it one step further and added ‘Snow Melting Mode‘ to each of the antennas. In this way, the antenna warmed itself more and prevented the formation of a layer of snow on it. That’s why the antennas have a warm surface on winter days, which is what attracts the cats. Some Starlink users started to share the cats that have a nest on their antennas due to this mode they opened in the snowy weather. While the cats were finding a warm place to sleep in cold weather, the owner of this antenna was losing most of the internet speed. While most of us would not be able to disturb the comfort of cats , the owner of the Starlink antenna that shared the post announced that he would move the antenna on the garden floor to the roof.

The immune system is very complicated, but now, it’s on a chip

To quote veteran science writer Ed Yong's simple yet extremely accurate words in The Atlantic, "The immune system is very complicated." As the COVID-19 pandemic had made abundantly clear, science still doesn't fully understand the sophisticated defense mechanisms that protect us from microbe invaders. Why do some people show no symptoms when infected with SARS-CoV-2…
