SHAH ALAM: Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah hari ini berkenan berangkat ke Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama Rakyat di Masjid Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Bukit Jelutong, di sini.
Ketibaan baginda pada 6.30 petang turut diiringi Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin dan Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah.
Keberangkatan tiba baginda disambut Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dan Menteri Besar Selangor Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
Hadir sama Exco Agama Islam dan Pembudayaan Inovasi negeri Dr Mohammad Fahmi Ngah, Pengerusi Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS) Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof dan Pengarah Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS) Datuk Mohd Shahzihan Ahmad.
Sultan Sharafuddin berkenan memulakan majlis dengan menyampaikan sendiri duit raya kepada 489 asnaf dari daerah Petaling, dengan jumlah sumbangan keseluruhan sebanyak RM244,500.
Dalam majlis yang sama, Sultan Sharafuddin juga berkenan menerima bayaran zakat perniagaan daripada syarikat Sime Darby Property Berhad dan CelcomDigi Berhad, masing-masing berjumlah RM2 juta dan RM1.36 juta.
Sultan Sharafuddin dan Tengku Permaisuri Selangor turut berkenan berbuka puasa dan menunaikan solat maghrib, isyak dan tarawih bersama penerima bantuan serta masyarakat setempat. -Bernama
