Summer 2022: Measures adopted by the municipalities with spas south of Lima for access to the beaches

After the increase in cases COVID-19 in Peru due to the omicron variant , the Government ordered new measures and until the closure of the beaches due to the end of the year celebrations. Given this, the municipalities with spas south of Lima indicated that they would assume what was stipulated throughout the summer of 2022.

In this way, the mayors or representatives of Santa María del Mar, San Bartolo, Punta Hermosa, Punta Negra and Pucusana have confirmed that they will take measures to access their beaches.

Among the measures being taken is the verification of the vaccination card for bathers and social distancing. In addition, in all these spas a capacity is being fulfilled.

In the case of Santa María del Mar , the Mayor Jiries Jamis Sumar specified in Channel N that, due to the large number of people, has coordinated with the Police and the inspection personnel to enforce its regulations.

Meanwhile, in Punta Hermosa the security monitoring center, with 84 cameras and drones, will serve to enforce the use of a mask and social distancing among bathers.

On the other hand, San Bartolo has divided its sand area into boxes to guarantee capacity and fulfill the distance. While in Pucusana they have stressed that it is forbidden to enter with alcoholic beverages or food on their beaches .

Also, in Punta Negra , how far did it go RPP Noticias , it was learned that the district inspectors are guarding five of the eight entrances to the spas to enforce biosecurity measures, although extensive lines have been reported.
