A page turned today for Nintendo, and the always very verbose director Masahiro Sakurai. After three years of presentation and mystery fighters, the roadmap of the dantesque Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was now nearing its goal.
VS It is an understatement to say that the announcement of the last fighter in Fighters Pass Vol. 2: to find out who would succeed Min Min, Steve & Alex, Sephiroth, Pyra / Mythra and Kazuya Mishima in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate , Masahiro Sakurai had asked players of all faiths (and others) to come and attend his final announcement .
Bisque Rage Swordsman
The speculations were about as numerous as the Internet users, but it is ultimately Sora, the famous hero of the saga Kingdom Hearts , who will be the 86th character to join the fray. As a facetious interlocutor, Sakurai did not fail to point out that his company Sora Ltd had the same name as the lucky one, but that there should be no sign of it.
Armed with his Keyblade, the quasi-swordsman will see his appearance change, his costume borrowing from the main episodes of the Kingdom Hearts series to Kingdom Hearts III , going so far as to borrow from the timeless River the retro look of a Steamboat Willie.
The choice of Sora results from the great investigation launched during the days of Super Smash Bros. for WiiU / 3DS : if the results had so far been kept secret, it is the hero of Kingdom Hearts who collected the greatest number of votes. In view of excessive reactions which have took place with the release of the Ultimate episode, Sakurai decided to leave third-party editors as far as possible from all-out public claims.
The Mystery has hovered for a few moments over the Lock Seal, Sora’s Final Smash, and the “Rising Falls” stage will also make an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and will transform into Fall to the Heart if the fight drags on. Nine new tracks will make Yoko Shimomura’s melodies resonate, and a bonus awaits players who will have a save of the spin-off
Melody of Memoriy in their files.
Sora will be available on October 19 in the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, priced at 5.99 euros. The Mii Octaling and Charbitre cotumes from Splatoon, as well as the Doom Slayer will all be three available the same day, at 0.80 euro each.
