Support needed in Ghana music industry – Luna Lonzo

A Canadian-based Hip Hop Artist and Sound Curator, Luna Lonzo, has stated that the Ghanaian music industry requires significant advancement to establish a stronger global competitive presence.

In an interview with the media on Friday, August 4, 2023, Luna Lonzo stressed the importance of enhanced internal and external support for the industry’s accelerated growth.

“The industry is still in a phase of development, and I believe there’s ample potential for expansion. If we can garner increased backing from both external sources and our fellow musicians, we can progress collectively and achieve remarkable feats,” he affirmed.

While promoting his music in Ghana, the Mexican-born Canadian rapper extended an appeal to artists within the Ghana music scene to foster collaboration and collectively elevate the industry to higher standards.

“Mutual support is crucial; no individual can accomplish everything alone. There remains a substantial scope for advancement within the industry, so perseverance is key,” he urged.
