Telfs – That the Fathers of the Telfer Franciscan Church losters on October 4th, the name day of St. Francis of Assisi, inviting church dignitaries and community leaders to lunch together is a tradition. This time the invitation also served to welcome new confreres. Because a lot has happened in the Telfer Convention this year in terms of organization and personnel: the new provincial leadership decided in early summer to no longer run Telfs as a so-called Guardianat – a Guardian is the head of a convent in the Franciscan Order – but as a branch of the Hall monastery.
