Yeezy Knit Runner: All information about the new drop
Kanye West is above all known for his relationship with Kim Kardashian, his argument with Taylor Swift and hits like “Touch The Sky” and “Famous”, but he’s also established himself as one of the greatest sneaker designers of our time.
With Adidas he turned Yeezy into a billion dollar business. In the initial phase of the partnership between the two, which began in 2015, West brought out designs that were based on traditional sneaker silhouettes. The Yeezy 350, 700 and 500 are not unlike the earlier Adidas shoes.
In 2019, he decided to completely change his design ethos. And he has proven that there are no limits to where he will take his shoes. Last year he introduced the bizarre Yeezy Foam Rnr, which is made from a mixture of EVA foam and sustainably harvested algae. The Yeezy 450 Cloud sneakers consisted of nothing more than a lace-up sock with a small elastic along the sole that crept up on each side of the shoes. Of course, both pairs were sold out within minutes.

Today the Donda Rapper will present its latest innovative design which is the price for the craziest sneaker yet. The Yeezy Knit Rnr is a simple sneaker (if you can call it that) with a slip-on silhouette made entirely of a knitted material.
The majority of the laceless shoe is kept in sulfur yellow, while the ankle cuff wears the typical Yeezy yellow. Here you can also find the size of the shoe, which is printed in black. Since these are traditionally hidden on the tongue or footbed of the shoe, this is a move that West could have taken over from Balençiaga creative director Demna Gavaslia. In 2017 he introduced the Triple S-Sneaker of the French label with visible size details on the toe caps.
Silly? Yes, perhaps. But you can bet that the Yeezy Knit Rnr will be a huge hit if it hits West’s website yeezysupply.com appears.
