The teaser starts with the fateful event that turned Amane’s life upside down. Mahiru is shown sitting in a park during rainfall with a distressed expression. Amane notices this and offers her his umbrella, which surprises Mahiru.
To return his kind gesture Mahiru, who happens to be Amane’s next-door neighbor, comes over to his house to take care of him. After protesting, Amane finally gives in and lets Mahiru do what she wants.
The franchise also revealed a beautiful visual featuring Mahiru under an umbrella as she gives a soft and warm smile to the viewers.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) is a light novel series by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto. It started publishing online on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in June 2019.
It features a sweet high school love story of neighbors and schoolmates, Amane Fujimiya and Mahiru Shiina. Fujimiya is an average student, while Mahiru is the school’s angel, and fate leads the two to become closer than ever.
