Therefore, this Wednesday, January 12, the National Civil Status Registry carried out a lottery at the Ágora Convention Center to define the location of the logos in matches for the elections to Senate and House of Representatives .
According to the National Registry, “ with transparency, guarantees and in the presence of representatives of political parties and control bodies, the drawing of lots for the position of political groups on the electoral cards for the elections for the Congress of the Republic of 2022”.
The event was attended by representatives of parties, political movements and significant groups of citizens, as well as magistrates of the National Electoral Council and officials of the different control agencies.

Nicolás Farfán Namén, delegate registrar in the electoral, pointed out that “ the draw was transparent, we have much easier independent electoral cards by constituency, which will guarantee the understanding of the voter“.
Similarly, the official added that the environmental policy of the National Registry will be implemented, so ecological paper will be used on all election material. In addition, each cubicle, on election day, will have a guide on how to vote to reduce invalid votes.
