The Best and Worst Countries for Working Abroad Revealed: We Are Again at the Wrong Top

An international survey, which reveals the happiness rates of foreign workers in countries, revealed the opinions of immigrants and foreigners working in Turkey, which are not much different from citizens.

There are countries that provide good working conditions and high income opportunities for foreigners as well as their own citizens. These countries can attract many earthlings who want to ‘level’ in terms of living conditions and enrich themselves and the foreigners who give their labor to this country. According to current data , Turkey is not one of these countries . In fact, Turkey is one of the countries that are not like this. But not all over the world, of course; among 59 countries. Expat Insider’s ‘Working Abroad Index’ data, which includes 59 countries, revealed that Turkey is the ‘worst country to work abroad’. The main issues that foreigners with work permits and foreign citizens complain about the most are TL’s depreciation and long working hours .

New Zealand and Norway occupied the top of the list of countries with the happiest workers, after Denmark. Turkey has been in the last 10 of the Working Abroad Index since 2017. This year, he was first to last. 43% of the immigrants living in Turkey stated that they were not satisfied with the local economy of the country. This rate was 19 percent worldwide . While 32 percent of foreigners working in the country state that they are tired of working hours , this rate is exactly half of Turkey’s worldwide; was 16 percent.
