The EC plans to consider possible ways for an early transition to renewable energy sources. The EC is expected to actively encourage and accelerate this transition, as Brussels considers green energy to be the most reliable insurance against future shocks. According to the project, fuel prices will decrease by April 2022. Most likely, however, the price of energy resources will exceed the average indicators of previous years.
In gas prices in Europe have risen to record levels in recent months. Experts attribute the increase in the value of futures to several factors: low use of underground gas storage facilities (UGS), limited supply from large suppliers and high demand for liquefied natural gas in Asia.
